Biography
 

Michael Mallock is a profesional Race Driver, with a vast experience in a selection of machinery.

After a successful career in Karting, Michael moved into Single Seaters at the age of sixteen, winning his first car race at Donnington Park one week after his 16th birthday. A move to Sportscars came in 2000, winning the National Supersports Championship at the first attempt taking 6 wins on the way to becoming the series youngest ever Champion, at only 17.

Michael has competed across the World in series from British GT to the FIA World Sportscar Championship alongside races in Historic Group C cars and Classic Sportscars. In addition to racing, Mallock offers private driving instruction and race coaching plus testing and development of both road and competition cars.

2010:
GT4 European Cup, driving the RSWilliams Aston Martin GT4.
Vice Champion: 3 Victories,2 Second place finishes,5 Third place finishes. Winner of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Trophy at the Walter Hayes Trophy driving a Mallock Mk9 Formula Ford.

2009:
GT4 European Cup, driving the RSWilliams Aston Martin N24.

Winner of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Trophy at the Walter Hayes Trophy driving a Mallock Mk9 Formula Ford. (Oldest car to qualify for the final by 20 years)


2008:
Factory Mercedes Race Driver- Official Development and Pro Driver, McLaren-Mercedes SLR 722 GT Trophy.
2 pole positions, 2 race wins, one 2nd place,two third places from 5 starts. Competing against: Jean Alesi, Klaus Ludwig, Jochen Mass, Chris Goodwin, Christian Danner, Christina Surer.

GT4 European Cup, driving the RSWilliams Aston Martin N24.
5 pole positions.

Winner of Mallock Gold Cup event, driving a Mallock Mk 18.
Winner of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Trophy at the Walter Hayes Trophy driving a Mallock Mk9 Formula Ford.



2007:
3rd in class Britcar 24 hour, Driving the RJN Motorsport Nissan 350Z
Double victory on debut in RSWilliams prepared Aston Martin N24
Spa 6 hour, driving Shaun Lynns 1964 Ford GT40, retired from 9 minute lead with 1 hour remaining due to mechanical failure.

2006:
Double victory at first round of AMOC (Brands Indy) driving the Marshplant DB4
Double victory at Silverstone AMOC driving the Marshplant DB4
Awarded the Roger St. John Hart Trophy by the Aston Martin Owners Club

2005:
Spa 24 hour for RML in the Saleen S7R, finishing in 8th place.
Selected to drive the Marsh Plant Aston Martin DB4, taking 2 race wins on debut.

2004:
Competed in Spa 24 hour for RML in the Saleen S7R, running in 5th position overall before retirement. Competed in the final round of the FIA GT at Zhuhai, China in the RML Saleen S7R, finishing in 7th place.

2003:
Selected to drive Tech9s Porsche 911 GT3 at Round 2 of the British GT Championship. Second place, fastest lap, new Lap Record.
3rd Place in British Empire Trophy, driving Glenvaragill Ferrari 360

2002:
Driving for Team JCI in the FIA Sportscar Championship in the Tampolli Opel SR2 car.
Development driver for the Opel 3.0 litre V6 SR2 engine.
Selected outings in the World Sportscar Invitation Trophy in the 1984 Aston Martin Nimrod.

2001:
Full season driving the Tampolli Nissan in the FIA Sportscar
Championship with Swara Racing. Contesting the Privilege Insurance British GT Championship with Eclipse Motorsport in the Marcos Mantis GTO.
Tested for GLPK Racing in their Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo and GTS Viper.

2000:

Competing in the National Supersports Championship.
8 poles, 6 wins, 1 second, 1 third, 7 fastest laps, 3 new lap records.
Overall Champion
Two guest outings for Eclipse Motorsport in Marcos Mantis Challenge in Privilege British GT Championship.
Two races in K-Sports Championship, 1 win, 1 second, 1 fastest lap.
Test/Development work for Mastercar, (Italian GT) in their GT2 spec 355 Ferrari.
Tested for Project 2000 Raceworks in their Pilbeam SR2 car, and selected to race in the Adelaide American Le Mans Series race. No race due to technical problems with car.

1999:
Competing in selected rounds of BRDC K-sports championship, - 1ST at first race, pole position, fastest lap, winner by 11 seconds, new lap record.
Jim Russell Pro-Series, 2 starts, 1win.
Formula Ford winter series with Van Diemen.

1997:
Formula Junior I.C.A
Mclaren Mercedes Champions of the Future Series.
Race winner in Britain and abroad.
Race winner in Formula Vauxhall Junior at Donington Park.
Awarded the IAN MASTERS Trophy, for Skill beyond experience.
